About JESS

Jess Holiday builds systems that form people and develop leaders within the local church.

She believes the local church is where real life change actually happens. Not in theory, in practice. In the ordinary, irreplaceable context of people trying to follow Jesus together.

That conviction is what drives everything she builds. But it didn't start with conviction. It started with watching good people burn out. Leaders who cared deeply, gave everything they had, and still hit a wall, not because they weren't capable, but because no one had built a clear path for them to follow. Too often, teams were being sustained by a few exhausted people carrying responsibilities that should have been shared.

After seeing it enough times, she stopped looking for quick fixes. Instead, she began building systems that gave people clarity, developed healthy leaders, and made ministry something people owned together. The kind of systems that shape a person's character before handing them responsibility.

This work is being developed in real time through Student Ministry in the Indianapolis area and leading young adult cohort spaces in Chicago, where she is building environments that move people from participation to ownership to leadership.

Outside of ministry, you can usually find her with a good cup of coffee, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, or spending time on the west side of Indianapolis, where she lives and continues investing in the local church.
